Not a bad place by any means BUT they no longer have a seafood platter for some reason which is strange for a seafood restaurant and not so good if you and a friend are trying to just split a platter. Staff was great and food was okay. I'd go there passing by but dont go out of your way just to try it. Still better than some others in the area

Crabs were mushy. Told the wait staff and she didn't seem to care about my concern and just thought bringing out another tray would fix it. Guess what? They were mushy too. I was told that it might be due to the mating season and no one else was complaining. I wasn't buying that. I've had crabs at 2 different places in the past 2 weeks and they were perfect. I would visit again but never will get crabs. I will pay the extra and go to Old Mill.

Let me preface this by saying I made the mistake of going on mother's day (I forgot even though I'd called mine earlier). Just recently moved to the area and my girlfriend was out of town, so I went alone. I had no trouble sitting at the bar as only one other person was, but it was very crowded and the staff were obviously very busy. So I got a beer, and I didn't mind that it took 25+ minutes for raw oysters to come out (I also ordered a pound of crab legs at the same time as the oysters). I was very hungry by this point and devoured the oysters even though they weren't very good and looked old/shriveled up. At least they were cheap, and I had come to try the crab anyway. Well, I got another beer, but no crab. Over an hour goes by since I placed my order. An obviously upset customer approaches the bar and talks to a woman who seems to be the owner. From their conversation the customer is clearly a regular, and she politely states her family has been waiting for 2.5 hours for food, and that it's getting a little ridiculous. The owner immediately asks what she can do to make it up to them and offers discounts, etc. Well, hearing about the 2.5 hours prompted me to wonder just how long I'd be waiting, because if it would still be a while I didn't want the crab anymore. I was only halfway through my question when a light went off in the owner's head and she said, "Oh! The crab legs!" Clearly, she had forgotten to place the order. And not only that, but all she offered was to take them off my bill (gee thanks for not charging me for something I never received). There was no discount, not even an apology for wasting over an hour of my time. I would've given them another chance if she'd at least apologized, but I guess since I'm not a regular I wasn't deserving of that.
